Hey,
I am trying to run PMS on my Synology DS216se, I have manually installed the package without running after installation, I set up RW permissions for plex user, put plex user in administration group, add RW rights to this group and then run the package but I get the famous “A problem has been detected with a core component of Plex” error.

For future reference, in File Station, you can right click on the Logs directory, -> Compress to Logs.zip
That makes it easier for both you and me. One file to work with and keep track of
I’m seeing network problems. I’ve been seeing this on Synology these last few days. It seems related to the DSM update.

Sorry, but I don’t really know what do you mean by check your connection exactly. Do you want me to ping the NAS from my local PC or?
Check your cables. One of the cables or connectors is faulty.
That was it, recently I’ve added switch and new cabels in my room with PC and those cabels might be faulty. I have just changed them and it let me through. Thanks a lot, I would have never guessed this. Happy holidays!
