PMS on Synology no connection (/port 32400/web/index)

help a noob out :slight_smile:

both versions up to date. i don’t know what changed - it worked brilliant before but the PMS cant connect to the NAS (Synology DSM 412+) anymore - wether via plex.tv or open it from the app.

it gives me as a message - (translated from german): safari can’t create a connection to the server; safari can not open the page :“xxxx.local:32400/web/index” cause safari can not create a connection to xxxx.local

i found similar topics here and tried a few things. but i am afraid of doing some - cause i am not a pro at all.

your help and support is very much apprechiated.

i did run the sript and get following error message:
safety check: i do have to enter the my plex id user name and my plex id password (nothing to do with the name and the password of the server.

Please check server is up and running, as well as the IP address entered

yes i did update it - version 1.16.6.1592-b9d49bdb7 running now is.

funny tho - i dont know whats wrong - i didn’t change anything - i renamed some files - i addes a user - and suddenly it stopped working.

all other systems and apps and connections on this NAS work like always before.

No, but i had version 1.13 before it did crash - that said. i checked and plex has read write access - did change it to read only now.

still - nothing happens. plex app can not reach the server.

now its working again.
