I recently upgraded server OS from Win10 to Win11 and everything went well with no data loss and all drives containing media are still intact.
Server loads and everything is working EXCEPT I can no longer see my server and the docs I have been reading seem to all say the same thing about linking or re-linking my server to my Plex Pass account. No matter what I do I cannot seem to link / re-link server to Plex Pass.
Ideas ? Thoughts ? Comments ? Recommendations ?
Find the Plex icon in the Windows notification area; you may have to click the ^ to find it. Right-click it and select Open Plex. If your server isn’t claimed, this will start the claiming process. If it’s already claimed, you have some other issue.
Thank you for the reply but I’ve also tried that.
PMS loads as expected upon boot, then I right click on ^ and see Open Plex Server and when I click on it Plex opens as expected except it is Plex without my Plex Server being anywhere to be found……all KB articles direct me to do many other things as well but no “my server” to be found to be able to link……last resort would be to uninstall PMS from existing server and reinstall fresh and then just add my libraries and then let the system sync and gather all the fresh meta data…….i do appreciate your response.
