PMS says "Server is Starting

Player Version#: N/A

When launching the PLEX Media Server, it just says “Server is Starting” and never full launches for me to access the system. I checked and my database does not appear to be corrupt and I redownloaded the PMS from Plex.tv as well.

Any suggestions on how to resolve this?

[SOLVED] No PMS connection since last night's update

Server Version#: QTS 4.3.6.2232 Player Version#: Web I updated my PMS to version 1.30.2.6563-3d4dc0cce this morning and since then, when I start the Web App, I receive the following error: Response code=“503” title=“Maintenance” status=“Plex Media Server is currently running startup maintenance tasks.” I have rebooted my QNAP server, and stopped and started the PMS with no success. Please assist, Scott

Dane mentions letting it run for hours to do the DB update in this thread.

I guess, I wasn’t patient enough. I just let it run and run and run and now the server is up and running.

I run into this issue time to time but what I do notice is when I unplug the USB drive, PMS starts up right away. Just in case you may have a USB drive attached to the server.
