Hi,
I have an issue since few weeks : PMS package suddenly stop on my XPenology server.
I really do not understand why because it works perfectly for months (even year).
Could you please help me to troubleshoot the issue?
Many thx for your answer.
For the first point " I see that Plex did have a crash at around 6:49 PM, but it failed to upload the crash log. Please make sure you have Send crash reports to Plex enabled in Plex Settings > Server > General.", I do have enable the option
For sync items, I’ve just removed them…My iPad is not used for the moment as I work from home since 3 months (CoViD)
For DNS rebinding protection, I do not know if my routeur (Airport extreme) has this option. I have activated IGMP snooping, blocked incoming IPV6 connexion and allow incoming IPSec authentification.
I have also a HP managed Switch (PS1810-8G) which has some network protection (Storm Control and Auto DoS) activated : I’ve just disabled them to test.
For “Plex is also reporting that your WAN address is actuially a LAN address. You need to check that.” : this is normal as I have a double NAT
For the last information about issue with encoded files, i will check with ffmpeg.
Hope this will resolved my problem.
PS : I’ve seen that some packages have been updated on my NAS around my first issues :
Thx again for your help.
I’ve checked in my NAS logs : nothing about package crash or anything else around 6:49PM (or for the all day).
My XPenology is an ESXi VM and it works perfectly since a year and half without any problem (for PMS I mean).
Edit : I’ve just had a new crash : here the logs Plex Media Server Logs_2020-06-30_13-24-02.zip (5.1 MB)
Is it possible to check what’s wrong?
