Hello
I use Plex within the SONOS app. My music is on a separate Synology server on which I also installed Plex Media Server.
It works fine, but the last days I met the problem that SONOS announced that Plex was not accessible. So I went to my Desktop, opened Synology Diskstation and in the “package center” I saw that Plex Media Server (PMS) has stopped. After “awakening” the PMS I could use Plex again form the SONOS app. What makes PMS stop and how can I prevent Plex Media Server from stopping? Thanks for your help.
Here is my logfile of this afternoon, when Plex again was unaccesible.Plex Media Server Logs_2020-05-19_18-40-40.zip (3.2 MB)
I hope this is enough to analyze the problem. Thank you for your help.

After this last extended helping comments Plex did not stop anymore. So now I do not change anything in the settings and wait till another stop and then I’ll look at the settings as Trumpy81 wrote.
hello
Today, a month after my last post, Plex stopped again and, after restarting, two times more (one time of which while Plex was scanning my Library.
Plex Media Server Logs_2020-07-01_13-54-38.zip (3.9 MB)
I have read of course the commenting help of Plex Ninja. But…, my media-files are not in the default folders Windows prepare, but on a separate server (NAS) on which also Plex is installed.
I only have music-files on my NAS/ Plexserver
Before the problems of today (stopping) I already saw that the scanning of my music-library was not complete and in some albums Plex saw some files two times and Sonos played those songs two times. So now is the question: what can I do to prevent this stopping and how to precent those scanning problems? (I attached the log-files.) Thank you for your help.
Hello again
I forgot to mention that the last two times Plex stopped i got the message, in the Plex-screen that the server is not attainable for unsafe connections. …Please make it attainable…
I hope someone knows what to do about it. Frank
Hi Plex Ninja
I did everything you wrote: de-installed Plex, deleted the usew in Synology Diskstation, removed the musicfiles to an new folder outside de default one downloaded Plex (with browser Edge), the latest version, installed it and after permission given to Plex to “see” the musicfolder I gave Plex the command to scan the musiclibrary, but after five minutes it stopped scanning. Plex did not stop.
May be you can look at the logs to see what happened.
Thank you for your help.

Hey Trumpy81
It seems to me you’re right: the result of the scanning looks rather complete now and…Plex does not stop at a certain moment.
In about a week I will report here about the functioning of Plex, (or earlier when there is again a problem).
I stopped Verbose logging.
Your question about the selected language: in the library and in de general settings I selected the Dutcht language.
Thank you very much for your help.
