Server Version#: 1.32.5.7349-7000
My brother has a Synology DS414 that finally have gotten DSM 7. I helped him upgrade PMS to run on DSM 7 from DSM 6.
I have followed the guide of uninstalling Plex on DSM 6, Upgrading to DSM 7, install Plex on DSM 7, give PlexMediaServer user access rights to the Plex folder, Uninstall PMS again and then install PMS and let it migrate.
After this I gave the PlexMediaServer read/write permissions to the Media folders. I also checked the Plex folder and it is empty except for the Migration.log so that should mean that migration went well.
The issue is that when I try to Run PMS it runs for a few seconds and then shuts down manually. I have looked at the logs and there is a ‘attempt to write a readonly database’ error in the logs.
PlexMediaServer user have read/write access to Media folders and the Plex Media Server folder. I have also compared permissions to my installation (on a DS416Play) and they match and my setup runs.
Any idea why the database should be in readonly mode?
