Hi, I just recently started to use Plex on a Synology and experience frequently a problem whereby streaming all of the sudden stops and I can only get it back to work again by stopping and restarting the server service. It happens with any movie so far and at different times. The only common thing is that it happens during streaming. But I get the sense that it happens more frequently if I need to switch to another app during streaming or turn off the iPad.
Yes, I saw the issue with the permissions too, but don’t believe it’s the cause. The reason I believe it’s unrelated is because pms stops working always only in the midst of streaming which is not related to scanning directories, besides I would be surprised if pms can’t stream just because the scanner can’t scan everything. It would rather have symptoms such as that new movies would be missing which isn’t the case.
But I will go through the settings and correct any permission issues. Thanks
In regards to the second issue you pointed out. I’m using the standard Plex client on my iPad. What do you suggest I should do to fix the communication problem?
