Server Version#: 1.16.6 wich is the latest for TS-469L v4.3.4.2451
Player Version#:

Team please advice, can I install the latest PMS version 1.32.8.7639 for Intel Atom to my QNAP TS-469L v4.3.4.2451? If yes how can I do this, i’m asking because in AppCenter my PMS installed version is max 1.16.6. then recent Plex Mobile App versions (for iPad, iPhone etc) dont able to connect to PMS 1.16.6 notifying me that is outdated.
Thank you so much for quick answer.

There are many things against you but we can try.

  1. You should be able to do a MANUAL INSTALL

  2. You want the 64 bit version.

  3. Per QNAP’s guidelines to us.

# Minimum QTS version requirement.
QTS_MINI_VERSION="4.3.0"

  1. You MUST BE ADVISED
  • The D2700 CPU (Atom Dual Core is far below the minimum CPU requirement

  • I do not know how much memory you have but should have at least 1 GB. PMS will run in 1GB if you are careful.

  • Installing the update and having it upgrade the database will take a lot of time.

I would watch the CPU usage and wait for everything to be completely idle / stable again BEFORE you open Plex/web

Hi Chack,
Please advice me little bit deeper

  1. how does the manual install procedure look like in steps? Could you please write it all down here? which version of PMS I need to download for this upgrade from v1.16.6?
It will be install or upgrade procedure? you know I have a lot of home media library defined. Will install not lost my resources or PMS configuration?
  2. Could it be the latest 1.32.8.7639? I can choose the package AMD/Intel 64-bit for QTS 4.3 and newer
  3. My QTS version right now is 4.3.4.2451 is it ok for manual install? it is the latest for my TS-469L provided by QNAP on their website.
  4. My CPU is Atom D2701 @ 2.13GHz, is it something wrong with it?
My memory usage looks like that on screenshot below
  5. How I can backup my PMS configuration before the upgrade?
    Thank you for quick answers
