As an aside I have been successfully using Plex for about 6 years, four on my current PC.
My PC OS win 8.1 (up to date) I5, 8GB mem
My problem: As above, I have been running ok for last 4 years, then I had to uninstall and remove libraries. To reinstall I downloaded latest PMS (1.13.2.5154) and commenced installation. Received “Setup Successful” with “Launch” Button, selected “Launch”, then screen just sits with no apparent action. Closed.
Rerun install, was shown “Repair” or “Uninstall”. Selected “Repair”. Result the same.
Rerun and selected “Uninstall”, displayed uninstall successful.
Rerun install, same result, will not Launch.
Checked drive directory where should have been installed, empty.
Control Panel shows installed size of 337MB.
I am going around in circles. Please suggestions, or a link to a previous similar problem whose solution may assist me. Thank you
