PMS is not allowing me to show Collections in my Movie Library so I can customise movie collection posters. I have followed the steps in the Collections support article to show and hide collections but it doesn’t give me the option anymore.
I don’t want to delete and reinstall PMS and lose all of my posters, metadata, etc. Anybody got any advice?
Your server software version is ancient.
It doesn’t have support for the collections.
I keep clicking check for updates but it’s greyed out on the web client. Tried multiple browsers (Safari, Opera and Chrome).
How do I update without erasing media server data?
Just download it from https://www.plex.tv/media-server-downloads/
Quit server>replace Plex Media Server.app in applications folder.>Start server
