PMS won't start on Nvidia Shield after update

Since updating my shield to V8.0 PMS won’t start.

I’ve tried diasbling it, uninstalling the updates, re-installing the updates, rebooting the Shield, re-starting Plex.

During the setup it gets to ‘Plex Media Server is starting for the first time’ and then just hangs endlessly.

Anyone had similar issues or know of a solution?
