I typically play podcasts directly from Plex Media Server. Several months ago, PMS stopped displaying the status of podcasts whether they’ve been listened to or not. If I access through the player on my tablet it shows them, but not on PMS.
Hopefully, this is something that can be fixed. It’s been this way since approximately June of 2020.

The Plex Podcast was literally the best Podcast app out there but now…

Switched to Plex app for podcasts after original post. It worked fine for a while, now podcast status doesn’t show in either Server or the App! It shows number of episodes not played yet, so it knows the status, it just doesn’t show the marker.
