Can someone tell me how to file this as a bug and feature request?
This does not work as it should. Look at this video

All but the last 4 episodes are marked as played, I stopped listening to this podcast for awhile, now I want to continue where I left off. Pressing PLAY on the top level adds ALL THE EPISODES TO THE QUEUE, even the played ones. And starts at the begining.
Every other podcast player will just add the 4 un-played episodes to the queue, this also happens in PlexAmp, this makes both players useless.
I do not know why the people at Plex think anyone would want this action.

Thanks @Anijake for testing! I guess I’m not the only one who would expect it to work different than it displays, or at least have the OPTION.

Not going to happen, podcasts are pretty much abandoned by Plex.
Do you have proof of that statement?
Since its introduction there have been only 8 updates that included things related to Podcasts and most of them for minor things.
Huge problems like this one, downloading the wrong episodes, episodes not being marked played and losing playback position all have been ignored.
Just look at the Podcast topics and how little replies from Plex, its all you need to know. Just use a real podcast app and save yourself a lot of aggravation.
Do you have a suggestion on another app? I listen from my iPhone, Sonos, and Mac/PC on a regular basis so thats why I use Plex. Thanks.
Try Overcast, or Pocket Casts and see if they offer what you need

I have this exact same issue too. There just doesn’t seem to be an easy way to actually listen to podcasts that have a lot of episodes in the feed without a ton of manual scrolling or specifically selecting which episode you want to listen to.
Thanks @nkilday glad I’m not the only one! The whole reason to use Plex is to have everything in one place so when we get suggestions like “try xxx other podcast app” I just want to say WTF?
