I thought it was weird no one else had reported this from what I could find. I've uninstalled/reinstalled several times but just this morning I discovered the cache and that I could delete it! Oddly the download is taking much longer which is ok by me I guess, maybe it's just my internet.

OK so I deleted the xbox cache and reinstalled the app and that seemed to do the trick for the most part. My back "B" button works on the controller now, the menus go away after a few seconds, the ONLY issue now is that there's still no skip forward. Skip backwards works but no forward. I can live with this though! Thanks again for the reply!!!

OH or you know what's a good one? OK so I bought the TV show The Mentalist and plopped 5 seasons on my Plex dedicated server. I started watching these via DLNA before Plex app came around. So you know that nice little feature that shows you the next episode you get to watch? Well half the time mine pops back to season 1 because it thinks I haven't watched it. Other times it is actually correct, so 50/50.
The problem is that I can't mark an entire season/folder as watched. I literally had to go through three seasons and mark INDIVIDUAL episodes as watched just so I could have the luxury of Plex keeping track of what season/episode I am on. Kind of a bummer to not have that feature. Thank you for your consideration.

Not too satifsfied any longer... The update that took place 12/18/2014 broke things for FreeNAS users. FreeNAS doesn't have a new enough plugin!!!
If you are using Plex for the 360 .. you have access to the FreeBSD updated version of Plex that will work in your FreeNAS .. that's what I did .. check out the FreeNAS forums for instructions how to manually update Plex and even run a cron job to keep it updated to latest plex pass version...
This was a nicely done client in the beginning but since the updates I have lip sync issues. Was working perfectly before. Maybe once they iron out all the bugs and give it an official public release we should see a much better client. Another thing I hope they change is to at least add another type of view. Having only five posters a the time on the screen when viewing my collection is just madness. Feels like the Roku all over again but prettier. I have a large collection and like to often just browse all my titles for something to watch.
I hope the developers are reading this, Please add another viewing type such as grid view so we can see more of our titles on screen at one time. Browsing a few titles a the time takes forever and is just not acceptable for my needs.
As for me, I just can't get it to work without transcoding
I have both a Netgear ReadyNAS RN104 and Synology 415Play, in the first case the movie does not even start (oh sidenote, I know the official server on the ReadyNAS has not been updated for a LOOOONG time, I'm using a workaround to install the latest revision of the server for ReadyNAS OS5 on my RN104).
On the Synology 415Play, I could get a movie to start once, but it was forcing transcoding. And recently I could not get anything to play...
Unfortunately, as this is admittedly in "beta" stage, we won't likely see an official release that's not considered "beta" for at least a year IMHO (and that's being "glass half-full"). This isn't meant as a slight against Plex or its employees, but development is at a snails pace for these sort of apps. They have way too many platforms to support and not enough employees/devs to cover them, IMHO.
That said, i've loved my 360 experience so far. I'm switching to an Xbox One as soon as they fix the show stopping dimming bug that was identified almost a month and 1/2 ago. :( Was considering getting a Chromecast if the DTS audio works well, though.
To add to things that people have said about changing views, I also think it would be nice to be able to turn off features such as "more movies featuring actor name" or the "start watching" suggestions. A nice clean interface featuring on deck, libraries and recently added would be just right. Also when clicking into a library, it would be nice to have the option to go straight to the browse all titles section without having yet another click.
I'm sure lots of people like the new clustered approach to the menu system, but for me it just doesn't work and I want a much cleaner look that I can use to get straight to my media. Like plex HT ;-)
That said, its pretty awesome to have this on the xbox 360, and I look forward to trying it out on the xbox1 when that arrives :)
Taken into consideration that the 360 is literally almost 10 year old hardware, 360 users are fortunate to have a Plex app working at all on the platform. I'll say this: Plex on the Xbox One is a lot smoother and a helluva lot faster launching. Glad I retired my 360 last month. :D

I wish they didn't remove support for media center extenders on the xb1...My family is very comfortable with that interface, and to see if go away is a shame. If I go to xb1, I'll need a good, working solution that still allows for live TV captured on my media center PC...So far I haven't found one.
It works, I was watching TV with it only last night. If you provide more info about your issues on this forum then you will get help!
Don't bother. Mr. Cooper seems only interesting in whining. He can ask for a refund, and probably get it, but he'd rather hang out here and take pot shots at the Plex team.

Garbage I'm not the only one. My neighbor has the same problem. Plex developers should be outsourced. Might get a better product. Maybe if the developers would spend less time responding with garbage comments might have a product that actually works.
