Hi,

I've downloaded the plex app to my popcorn hour A-300 but can't past the first screen that seay 'media server IP address', 'media server port'.

What am I supposed to enter in these boxes? 

Also I do not have a HDD installed in the PCH so will I be able to use the media stored on my stand alone HDD connected to my PC? I can read that at the moment through my PCH but as it's not locally stored it will only appear as a file list. I wanted to use plex to display it that it has a folder and info display.

Hello, I have a slightly different set up (plex server package on synology nas and pch a410) but the same question.
I know the ip adress and the port but the rest is kind of a big questionmark.
The setup also asks me for a configuration file which I cannot locate on my NAS.

So what was the fix. Im running into the same problem

I don’t have an A-300 but I have a C-200 and a V-TEN both with PLEX running on them.
I only added the servers IP address and port number and left the remaining entries blank.
I don’t think this setup works from a remote location but for me it works fine on my LAN.
