I’ll be honest… When I set up the new server, I bulk loaded my stuff in, so I don’t believe I did anything special to get this one to match.
Just noticed that Popeye the Sailor (TV Series 1960-1963) — The Movie Database (TMDB) was linked to the wrong show over at tvdb so I’ve gone and fixed it. That’s might help with things…
UPDATE: At tmdb the 1960 show was linked to tvdb 1933 show. Anyhow, another 24/48 hours to wait for the changes to creep into plex.
@drzoidberg33 tagging you on this thread incase there is something else wrong on the plex side.
I merged the directories for the 1933 and 1960 version on my box. The 1933 episodes now have titles, but the 1960s ones do not. It seems to remember the season that episodes were in, because if I change S01 to be S1960 it still sticks them in Season 1.
I actually don’t have this show myself so have not matched it. Just trying to help out really as I can see things are not quiet right but hope this fix I’ve done will help.
Ohh… Thanks.
How are your files named? This is definitely outside the norm for me, but all of mine are named having the year substituted for season number.
On almost all of my other shows I use “S00E00” format but for some reason I’ve named these as “S19XXE00” and so forth. I’m assuming Filebot was involved when I put them together, as that’s my standard procedure.
That’s because the 1933 show on TheTVDB uses 4-digit season numbers.

So if you use the new agent, you def. need to tell it to use the episode ordering of TheTVDB.
It doesn’t appear to be fixed for me. And my seasons 1-2 of the 1960 version have no episode names or descriptions.
