[Possible Bug] Bad kerning on unicode and special characters

I have noticed for some time now that unicode characters in titles or descriptions has very poor kerning on the PS3 client. It looks as though an extra space is being padded after each of these characters.

I have a number of files with either Russian filenames/titles or with Russian descriptions, and the Cyrillic characters have this unusual kerning. On a more mundane note, it seems that even the common apostrophe character (i.e. ') has the poor kerning as well.

I realize it’s possible that this is could be intrinsic limitation of the PS3, in which case the Plex client can’t do anything about it.

I have grabbed a couple screens showing the issue.

The first attached image shows the problem with the apostrophe character. In this case, it is in the show’s description for a Red Dwarf episode (e.g. look for Holly’s, Dwarf’s, Lister’s, and Rimmer’s).

The second attached image show the problem with Cyrillic characters. In this case it is in the title of the music video for Вдыхай from NikitA. The spacing/kerning is not as bad as the apostrophe example, but is still definitely noticeable.

Any news from the developers on this? This issue is still ongoing.
