After installing the latest plex media server update, i found that text containing specific characters like é è (any character with accents) are replaced by question marks (drobo pms distrib)
Is it a known bug @elan ?

Looks like this is happening for all non-ASCII characters. It seems, the PMS (v1.1) is transferring it’s content in ASCII only to the clients. My Android TV client is additionally printing regular UI labels with ?? instead of the regular texts (e.g. in German “Zur??ck” instead of “Zurück” on the back buttons; v4.31). However, not all clients are affected - on my iPad (iOS version 4.2) those labels are still showing correctly, while all the movie/tv-show names provided by the PMS are messed up.
The PMS web ui is showing mixed results - some content is showing properly (e.g. in the main menu), in other areas I’m seeing the double-questionmarks (e.g. settings).
I suppose that’s why v1.1 is still a non-public pre-release :-S
fixed in latest version !
