Possible Bug? New Plex.tv Users Subtitles always on

New Plex.tv user accounts that you share to your media server have a bug with subtitles. They are always on by default, and don’t honor the Plex Media Server settings.

I have tested this one 2 firestick 4k devices with a dummy account and my main account switching between the 2. I have also testing with plex web.

Is anyone else able to confirm this? or am I missing something?

EDIT: My old account I tested with has Plex pass the dummy accounts are free users.
EDIT: Asked a friend to test with old free user account and works fine.

I have tested this with new accounts without Plex pass and accounts with Plex pass on Nvidia shield and 4k firesticks and other devices.

All new accounts without Plex pass, all play subtitles and have to manually shut them off on each file.

Not sure when the change happened, but it seems to be on new signups, older signups without Plex pass don’t have this issue.

The server language settings are always overridden by the user language settings.

Look in here https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/account
at your own account and then accounts of your managed users.
(Use “Switch User”)
