BUG: "Always" play subtitles not working

Player Version#: The downgraded top menu version

This is on a local account for elderly parents who always need subtitles. It is set to “Always burn subtitles” on their server account, and it’s set to “Always” play subtitles on the Fire TV buggy version where the left side menu is missing.

It’s about 1000% harder for them to use now, and their first question with anything they start to watch is “Is there subtitles?”

So not only is the navigation harder now, but they also have to turn subtitles on manually for most media items. (it’s on for some, and not on for others)

My grandparents are in their 90s and were perfectly able to use the old experience. Once this new experience dropped they completely gave up. They can no longer use Plex. They had been using it for over 10 years without issues. I cannot stand this new experience. RIP Plex.
