Possible bug? watched status across multiple devices

some times, when I start watching something on my PC, and I leave it on “paused” (I don’t hit the stop button, nor do I close the app) , and I later continue/finish watching the same show or movie on an other device, like a roku, the watched status don’t get updated, it stays at the same place as it was paused on my PC. is it a bug ? is it a feature ? it’s not a breaking issue, but it would be nice if it could be fixed.

Don’t leave it on Pause.
Close the player, or use the Stop button, if present.
