Poster "choose an image" default folder location

This might be a dumb one, but I can’t find anything on this.

When you go to edit a movie/tv show and navigate to poster, there’s the option at the top that says “choose an image”. When you click on that, it takes you to a folder. Is there any way to change that default folder?

I don’t think so. I believe this is just the regular browser file selection — i.e. Safari will simply default to the previous folder you selected.

Yeah, that’s what I was thinking. But mine doesn’t do that, ever. Maybe I have a windows setting to dig for that’s causing this.

Tip: instead of adding posters manually, name the files according to

or
https://support.plex.tv/articles/200220717-local-media-assets-tv-shows/
and store them in the indicated location beside your media files.
Doing so should make them available for selection within Plex.
And if you ever have to redo your Plex database/library, the posters will still be available.
