Poster issue on one show

Server Version#: 1.13.5.5332
Player Version#: 3.67.1

Only one show doesn’t have posters. I checked on TVDB and posters are available https://www.thetvdb.com/series/monogatariseries.
Matching is ok because episode names are ok.
I tried to update metadata and checked logs, but no error found.
I don’t know the next step to troubleshoot.

~ Optimizing the library itself with a right-click over the name.
~ Just taking that particular show out of the library entirely, re-scanning the library, then putting the show back into the library and scanning it all once again… the PLex Dance

I would just Google for artwork and apply as required.

Monogatari works fine, but i think you confused it by calling it “Series”.
Click the 3 dots to bring up the menu and click “Match” (or “Fix Match” if it tried and found something but failed) and just select “Monogatari (2009)” Give it a good solid like 5 minutes to find everything since it is a large anime with looooooooots of metadata and looooooooots of pictures.
Also yes I did have to get my own season art because thetvdb is dumb and thinks theres only 5 seasons because it merges a lot of them. like, according to thetvdb, Bake, Nise, and Neko White are 1 season, Neko Black, Kabuki and Otori are another.. so just get ready for the episode titles to be wayyyyyyyyyyy off.

Also where the crap did you get season 14? that hasnt even aired yet!

@Liestenn, I don’t know how you managed it because I see only 5 seasons on “Monogatari” inside TVDB.

So, I uploaded posters for “english” on Monogatari Series on TVDB and it worked.
I also updated the description, it didn’t update until I found there was a cache: How often does the Plex cache of theTVDB.com get updated?
Now everything is ok now

i pulled the base metadata from thetvdb and edited it into how it should be. theres certain shows on thetvdb that are just… broken… and “locked” so you cant even fix them. a lot of manual editing went into fixing monogatari. im also tempted to just make the Kizumonogatari 3-part OVA a series on mine, since by all accounts it should be…
