Poster missing for some shows

Hi!

I’ve been using Plex for a few months and I noticed that sometimes, there are no poster for some tv shows. I have been searching why but i cant figure it out :

  • the naming of two tv shows are exactly the same but the poster will appear for one and not for another.
  • a poster can appear for a not very known show but not for a very well known show so its not about that.

So if you have any idea, please tell me.
It’s not that bad not having a poster for a show, but its always more appreciable to have it.

  1. do you use posters as local media assets (=pics in your library folder)?
  2. do you get any metadata for those shows or just no posters?
  3. check the naming of those show files and their folder structure (can you post this here?)
