I’m new to Plex - Is it possible for Plex to automatically be in “Posters” mode when viewing the “Movies” library and be in “List” mode when viewing other “Other Videos” ? The reason is I dont have any posters for my other videos and the videos have long file names that all start out the same, so I need to view this in list mode.
Well… Using Plex on my Android phone will. I guess it might just depend on the client you are using.
I am using PLEX server on a Synology box - will be using the client on my Vizio TV (Will also test with android)
Hmm, normally each library type will remember the last mode you left it in (so you can have all music libraries in Details mode, all Photo libraries in Poster mode, etc.), but for some reason Movie and Other Video libraries are tied together so setting a Movie library to List mode will cause Other Videos libraries to be the same.
I’d have to call this a bug, since the behavior is not consistent across all library types.
