Hi. I’d love to find a way for Potplayer or some other similarly capable external player to integrate with Plex, ideally from explorer so that when I use Plex on my PC downstairs, it knows where I got to so when I watch Plex in bed at night I don’t have to manually keep track.
Is such a thing possible?
Integrating external player software into the Plex ecosystem is not possible that easy.
There is already a Plex client for maximum performance and hardware acceleration. It is called Plex Media Player and it can be downloaded for free above under DOWNLOADS.
