Pre-roll shows as playing, transcode cache completes but never plays. After about 10 seconds, it times out and moves on to the actual movie.

Can anyone replicate on current beta w/ Linux OS?
Confirmed is not player dependent.
I’m on the current beta server release – regularly using this pre-rolls in my movie library and so far no issues (currently using mostly my Apple TV; but as you pointed out… this should not depend on the player).
According to the Plex server log, the playback of the preroll is terminated by your client… could you test it again on the client and share the client logs?

Weird. I was just able to replicate directly from the server IP as well.
