So I had to reinstall Windows about a month ago. After setting up Plex and moving everything into place I no longer get Artist or Album metadata from Plex. I’ve tried just about everything I can think of except setting my PC on fire.
Deleted the cache in plugin support.
Deleted the Artist and Album folders in metadata.
Deleted the music library.
Refreshed and updated a hundred times.
Only a few are getting artwork. It says it’s downloading the metadata, but then nothing changes.
Very frustrating.

If you are fortunate enough to have an earlier version of PMS still, I would suggest you uninstall Plex 1.3.3 and reinstall using 1.3.0 or earlier, at least until the next version of Plex is released.
Unfortunately, I do not know when the next release will happen. Plex do not reveal their schedules at all.

I guess that is somewhat encouraging that they are aware and it’s being worked on.
I thought it was a failure on my part restoring the metadata from my backup in the new install.
