I have been noticing this issue on my server lately, The preview snapshot is for some other show in many cases.
I find that these bad items will have many posters for the episode but only one is for the correct show and the others are for other shows altogether. I can edit each show and select the correct poster but i can not see a way to delete the wrong posters or clean up the database.
In this example only 4 of the 13 episodes have a poster from this show.
Is there any way to clean this up for all shows at once (delte bad ones and select good ones) and not have to manually edit for each show and poster.
Like maybe delete all poster and then create new ones?
How would i do this?
I have the same issue. Its happening to home videos as well. Also, since this morning I am not able to play any home videos or view pictures, only thumbnails are visible.
Your problem is a little worse than mine I’m not having any trouble playing items. I just have the wrong thumbnail showing for the items. I’m looking for a way the correct way to clean something like this up. It appears I got no answers.
I’ve seen other people talk about running SQL commands to check integrity of the database and to clean it up maybe that’s what I need.
My database is over 12 years old and been through hundreds of upgrades and changes old plugins I’m still using the legacy agents etc etc. I think it’s past time that I delete everything and create a brand new database with a fresh install. Just hoping that ain’t the only way to fix something like this…
