I apologize for the delay. It has been crazy busy here.
I also needed to take time to write a tool to help everyone.

It reclaims the server without needing to fuss (DSM 6 is very awkward)
I would like you to try it.

It understands regular Linux, DSM 6 & 7, QNAP QTS & QuTS, and Netgear ReadyNAS at this point.
More can be easily added
