Hej Alla!
Först vill jag bara säga att jag är en väldigt ny användare till Plex, och har själv försökt lösa de problem jag sprungit på tidigare… men nu hittar jag inte någon lösning.
Därför vänder jag mig till forumet. Antar att det finns en enkel förklaring till mig problem…
Hur som helst, mitt problem ligger i att jag inte verkar kunna installera några program alls jag hittar i app-store.
Är väldigt sugen på att pröva alla Play-appar samt Spotify och Youtube, men här springer jag på själva problemet…
Jag hittar alla appar, får frågan om att installera och sedan får jag enbart upp “Spotify Couldn’t Be Installed” etc…
Som jag sa tidigare är väl lösningen hur simpel som helst, men ha tålamod, jag är väldigt ny till denna underbara programvara.

- Får du samma problem då du försöker installera Play-apparna?
- Vad säger Plex.log runt den tiden då du försöker installera? (du hittar loggen här ~/Library/Logs/Plex.log
Slå på debug mode (CMD-F och i menyn så väljer du Preferences) och replikera problemet sen kopierar du texten från loggen hit som visar vad som händer då du försöker installera.
Jag får samma problem när jag försöker installera play-apparna också..
Eftersom jag inte har världens koll på logg-saker känner jag att för min egen del att kopiera loggen hit. Känns annars som att leta efter en nål i en höstack.
Och hoppas att med er expertis hitta felet i loggen..

Verkar även som att App-store har en uppdatering att installera… när jag försöker göra det så “går” rutan bara ner efter någon mille sekund. Och uppdateringen blir inte installerad…

Mycket underligt. Uppdateringsprocessen startar, men den stannar utan att ge ett felmeddelande till loggen.
Har du lyckats installera några appar tidigare eller är detta första gången du försöker?
Nej det är första gången jag försöker installera någon av apparna, är en riktigt färsking gällande Plex, började trixa lite med det i helgen som var.
Fick dock plex direkt av en polare, kanske ska pröva avinstallera och dra hem det igen från hemsidan? Tänkte att det kanske inte gick helt rätt till när jag installerade.

Fick du DMG-filen av din polare eller kopierade du bara hans .app-fil från hans “Program”-mapp?
Testa ladda hem Plex från hemsidan då vet vi iaf att det är en ok version du får hem 
Om jag inte minns fel så tror jag nog inte att jag fick .dmg filen… kan ju vara en idé att prova installera om.
Jag prövar, återkommer med respons hur det gick.

Gott. Ska egentligen inte spela någon roll om du fick DMG-filen elelr om du kopierade från din polares Applications-mapp… men om det hade varit DMG-filen så hade vi iaf vetat att .app-filen inte var skadad eller på något sätt ändrad.
Återkom gärna med resultatet så vi vet hur vi ska gå vidare.
Åter till dramat, verkade inte som att de gjorde någon skillnad alls…
Problemet kvarstår och jag har inte den blekaste vad det kan vara…

Zippa upp den och lägg den i “~/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Plug-ins”
Starta sedan om Media Servern (du hittar den i Finder-menyn).
Sesådär, nu har jag fått in den filen framework.bundle iaf!
Startade om Media Servern, men kan inte se någon skillnad, är det något jag gör fel?

Hur techie är du? Jag skulle behöva veta vad det är för rättigheter på den filen för att förstå vad det är för galenheter.
Är väl inte allt för techie när det gäller mac faktiskt, relativ ny användare av mac också, men om du pekar mig i rätt riktning kan jag nog hjälpa till

OMG YES! Gick in och kollade på loggen och letade rätt på den filen som strulade… kollade behörigheten på den och såg att den vara enbart “läsa” ändrade till “skriv & läsa”.
Efter det gick jag in och försökte uppdatera app-store, resultatet: App-store has been succesfully upated"
Nu antar jag att det kommer fungera med apparna…
