I’m running Plex server 4.125.1 on Windows and streaming to Shield TV and applied all the last updates on and hard booted (power plug).
I frequently find that when I try and binge watch more than one episode of a show - it will play the first find and when it rolls into the second the screen goes black. If I try to escape out the shield is frozen. The only way out I’ve discovered so far is to power off and back on the unit.
If I watch and episode and at the end escape out manually then manually go back and select the next episode it usually plays fine (as long as I don’t do it from the home selection - it seems more likely to crash if I go to the next episode in the home section instead of going to the group such as TV shows and then select the next episode.
I’ll have to test out on my Roku - I use it far less because of where it is but I don’t recall it getting hopelessly stuck.
