I bought the lifetime Plex pass thinking that I could share my library with my wife and kids. I followed the instructions on the website, created a Plex account with my wife’s email, and sent her the invite through the Plex server on my PC however she has never received the invite email to confirm.
I’ve tried sending the invite multiple times and I even used different email accounts, but still no invites are being sent. I’ve checked the spam folders in these accounts too. There are no invite emails from Plex.
What am I doing wrong?
Also is there no option to get actual customer support? I paid for a lifetime pass and my only support option is this forum?
Thanks very much BigWheel for the prompt response! That’s strange because my server shows multiple invites being sent, see attached. However neither email address has received the invite. I have the latest server version installed and I have tried both restarting the Plex server and restarting the computer.
Maybe I’m misunderstanding you, but this is exactly what I’m trying to do and I followed the instructions at the link you listed. When I send my wife the invite, she never receives it.
There is actually no need for her to receive the email.
All she needs to do is to go to plex.tv
sign in to her account
then open the the plex web app
and accept the invitation in there.
