The issue is that the TVDB scanner doesn’t find any of the titles, and in fact when I try to do a match on just the top level directory “Looney Tunes” it returns that it isn’t found. I know the TVDB has it, because I looked up everything in there… but not even the top level? What do I need to do?
TVDB and Plex are filing for divorce (apparently), but things do work as expected IF you use the exact naming they suggest. I use FileBot so it knows no other way than to use the name they use.
However - if your system can’t use absolutely correct names - for some reason - you can add new episodes and Fix Match at the show level with the TVDB ID# in place of the name in Search Options.
72514 is the ID# - remove everything else. The ID# is found at the very first page at TVDB - in the upper right corner.
IF you do that once at the Show Level - you shouldn’t have to do it again for more episodes… if that’s happening there could be more wrong than we think.
IF you’re using the New Series Agent - good luck. I know nothing about it.
