I have on specific title that is having playback issues on the Xbox series x. The file is a 1080p mkv from a bluray rip. It plays fine with direct play on a browser, roku, and even my phone, but for some reason has issues with playback (lots of artifacts, not just simple stutters) during high activity scenes. Weirdly enough, if I intentionally transcode the title on the series x these artifacts are not present.
I don’t think it is an issue with bandwidth, as I can playback 4k bluray rips with direct play on the Xbox, other 1080p rips are ok (that use the same video and audio codecs), and the Xbox is directly wired into my router.
Any ideas on what can be causing this issue or how to resolve it?
