I’ve been a long time plex user and just updated my HDHomerun to use the plex DVR feature. I’m noticing on one program, Saturday Night Live that the title that is being recorded on is wrong. It is correct under the detail, but gets saved in random locations as a different season. I’ve attached a snip of the latest recording. Thanks in advance.
Seems like an EPG issue showing wrong season/episode. Saturday December 9 will apparently have the same issue as this episode since it is showing S43E10. TV Guide shows details for last night as S43E07, and next week as S43E08 based on the details of show. TV Guide show details matches what TheTVDB has for the episode information for each date.
I would report to Plex using the Reporting Gracenote EPG Data Issues thread. Don’t know how long it usually takes for these Gracenote issues to be fixed but would not expect it to be fixed before this coming weekend. In the interim you can manually rename the file, move it out of your Plex library, scan the library with the file out, when the scan completes move the file back in. This should correct the library information so it displays correctly. As you can tell the image shows this episode aired on December 16, 2017, at least that is when TheTVDB says this episode will air.
