I have three 2 part “miniseries” in my movies, Terry Pratchetts Going Postal, The Colour of Magic, and Hogfather (with names formatted as Terry Pratchetts Movie Name Year Part #). All are mp4.
Going Postal is found and matched fine.
The Colour of Magic is found but not matched, and the agent refuses to find a match (even when I use Color instead of Colour) even though I can find it on IMDB.
Hogfather doesn’t show up at all.
I’ve tried renaming the files. I also tried making copies in my TV folder (they don’t show up in that library at all).

I take it that’s going to be a double-challenge
In most of the cases, those tv-movies are documented as tv mini-series in the repositories used by Plex. That being said… in this particular case you seem to be good for now. While the databases occasionally do some kind of spring-cleaning to get rid of redundant entries… there’s movie as well as tv-show entries for 2 of those 3 on The Movie Database.
Therefore I suggest you organize them as tv-shows:
TV Shows <- the folder linked to your tv-show type library

You can setup your tv-show library (or just the 3 shows) to hide the seasons (given there’s only 1). You can also use a Terry Pratchett collection for the 3 shows to show as a single item in that library (or at least as related items).
Using the S01E0# worked. What surprised me most was that nothing was showing up before…
I figured Plex would include ALL videos found in the Library folders… This was supported by the fact that I have a collection of indy animated shorts from film schools, and they all show up in the library (though obviously can’t be matched to anything on any db).
Now I feel compelled to check my libraries… but I guess I had to for mismatches anyway…
Plex will ignore certain videos. One example are videos named following the tv-show naming schema… a movie library will ignore those (while a tv-show library will ignore videos not matching that schema).
