Yet Another Matching Query

Hello,

I’m really struggling with a getting some media to match correctly, and would appreciate any advice.

I have two series, as listed in thetvdb.com

The Crystal Maze -
The Crystal Maze (2017) -

These are stored in two separate folders called “The Crystal Maze” and “The Crystal Maze (2017)”, and each file is named either “The Crystal Maze.S01E01.avi” or “The Crystal Maze (2017).S01E01.mp4”, and so on.

When I “Scan Library Files”, Plex correctly identifies the two different shows, and they appear as different entries under TV shows. So far, so good.

However, when I go in to “The Crystal Maze” and look at S01E01, it appears to have picked up the program description from “The Crystal Maze (2017) S01E01”. In other words the same description and title appears in both S01E01 shows.

thetvdb.com definitely has distinct information for the two shows.

Rename The Crystal Maze to The Crystal Maze (1990)
Don’t forget the Season 0x folders inside.

Perform the Plex Dance with this whole show.

Complicating things further is apparently the fact that there is some overlap between the two shows.
Season 7 of the 1990 show is identical to seasons 1 and 2 of the 2017 show.
