Running current Plex Server and it stays up for 30-45 minutes than it goes down, only a windows 10 reboot brings it back. This affects all devices so I imagine it is related to the server app. Tried checking firewall and other network settings but nada. Restarted router, did repair…nada. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am at my wits end and am not the savviest around networking issues.
Plex Server crashes after 5-10 mins and needs to be restarted. Can’t talk to a support person! Only have this forum. Pretty poor and I’m not a techie so the info in the info in the forums is over my head! I just want it to work - because when it does its excellent! Graham

It would also be good to have more information regarding what exactly causes the crash. Are you viewing a particular item, on a certain device or something else. All information you can give is beneficial.
Honestly, I cannot say what is causing this as it just “times out”. I have been watching a movie before and it craps out. Leave it alone, try to pull it up, server not found. Thanks!

An over the phone support person would still need to see the information requested which is actually pretty hard to review over the phone. This way, we can provide you links to instructions that you can review on your own schedule instead of being pressured on the phone. The crash is the one that occurs when there is a malformed request going to the server.
In this case it is an internal malformed request from the Premium Music Library Scanner whilst attempting to send a Gracenote Search

Within that long request (truncated for logging purposes) there is an unescapted & character leading to the issue - it is unescaped because the field was expected to be digits only - hoping this will be validated soon

This gracenote issue seems like an old one. I fixed Brick & Lace file a few days ago, making the connection. Still can’t add music library without crashing it.

The dmp and logs I investigated are from 28th April
I have no logs and dmp from after that
To make sure this bad tagged tracks do not cause issues - I would want to see the tags before they are corrected
