Program Guide - Does it Update On its own?

I noticed the manual update button in the DVR settings. Does the program guide also update on its own? If so, how often?

It updates every 30 minutes

Mostly just speculation but I think it grabs x days/weeks worth of guide data and updates accordingly or when changes get posted.

I wish. Never has for me. I end up having to manually do it. I’ve been searching for ages, but there are a lot of articles features the works programme guide and update!
