Proper format to separate movies from TV shows

After reading through the “organizing your files” section, I am still questioning if I should move my TV show video files ( a mixture of .mkv, .mp4, etc…) into a “Plex TV Shows” folder separate from my Plex Movies folder. I have TV shows that have individual seasons and each episode includes its title. The episode name includes “SxxExx”. I created a folder named “Plex TV Shows” and moved most of the TV shows from “Plex Movies” to the TV shows folder, but Plex would not save the change. Both folders are on the same HDD.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Yes. Different types should be in their own main folder.
