PS3 can't connect to local Plex server

Server Version#: 1.13.8.5395
Player Version#: 3.1.0

My PS3 cannot connect to my local Plex server. Both are on my local network. My LG OLED can connect just fine, as can Windows web clients.

On the Server, Secure connections is set to Preferred. List of IP addresses and networks that are allowed without auth is set to 192.168.1.0/24, 192.168.1.106, 192.168.1.107, 192.168.1.108 (static IP for the PS3). I noticed that my LG OLED sometimes couldn’t connect just using the netmask, so I gave the LG and PS3 static IPs and added them to the list.

The last time I tried, my PS3 connected and I saw the home screen for a second, and then it disconnected again saying it can’t reach the server.

I’d love any help towards resolving this, since it’s really inconvenient not being able to use Plex on my PS3 (which is the only media player we have in the bedroom).

Just did another test today. Restarted the server, signed in just fine. I do see a error that the server is not available outside my network, but I’m not trying to access it from outside, it shouldn’t need Remote Access.

  1. LG TV connected just fine. Static IP 192.168.1.107
  2. PS3 can’t connect, even if I specify the server IP manually. Static IP 192.168.1.108
  3. PS4 connected just fine. DHCP.

Attached is the server log from the test.
