PS4 app kills Plex Media Server

after trying to play any movie from PS4, PMS and NAS itself reboots.
iOS and web player work fine.

That error message is harmless. I’m not sure what’s going on there but this sounds like a hardware issue. The NAS itself rebooting is quite worrying. Can you post this in the PMS section?

I think since the new Plex app does not transcode into hardware, your computing power is insufficient and the CPU is overwhelmed and the Plex server hangs up!?
