PS4 app very slow to load from library

I’ve just started trying out Plex on the PS4, but it’s intolerably slow to load posters and media details. Sometimes it’ll take a few seconds just to populate the home screen. Other players on the local network (both wired and wireless) are fast and a pleasure to use.

On the PS4, streaming isn’t a problem. The stream starts relatively fast, and the quality is great.

Does anybody else have this issue, and is there something I can do to resolve this issue?

I have the same problem. I hope they will fix it quickly !
For fix the problem I delete and re install the apps

I’m now on PS4 Plex Player version 3.80.1, but I experience the exact same issues. Things are very slow to load from PMS on the local network AND remote networks.

I’ve uploaded some of my logs. Hopefully somebody can take a look and help me out. All I was doing here was moving around the PS4 Plex Media Player app.

Actually playing a video works just fine, and I experience no buffering.

I do not have these issues when using PMP on the Mac, Android, or iOS.
