Hy there, I'm having trouble with my newly bought PS4 Remote Control by Hama...all the other Apps including Netflix & Youtube working flawlessly with that remote on my Playstation 4 except the Plex app...does anybody know when a new update is coming to fix this? It's truly annoying using the controller only for accessing Plex when I want to watch channels on my PS4.

The way that all PS4 media remotes currently work is they emulate keyboard commands. Unfortunately, many apps don't support USB/Bluetooth keyboards so the remotes will have pretty much no functionality in them. I asked Plex devs about this on Twitter and they said there were currently unable to retrieve keyboard commands due to current limitations.
PDP is releasing an official PS4 media remote this October; this remote will work more like a controller rather than a keyboard so it should work in all apps.
While you're waiting for the official remote bagheadinc mentioned, try using HDMI CEC with your TV remote. It works flawlessly with Plex.
As far as I’m aware, HDMI CEC only works when the PS4 and TV are directly connected via HDMI. Not so good when you’ve got a receiver in between…
