PS4 says it needs at least server version 1.5.1 after client update

Server Version#: 1.13.9.5456 (Mac)
Player Version#: whatever it just updated to

Plex was working fine until the app on PS4 updated automatically. Now when I open it, I get the new interface and a message that it can’t connect to my server. When I went into information about the server, it told me that it needed to be at least version 1.5.1, however as you can see I have the latest which is way newer.

Added to this the app doesn’t seem to load properly half the time. I can’t find any acknowledgement here that there are problems or that we should expect a new version… is anyone able to use it on PS4 after the latest update?

My Plex app on the PS4 Pro doesn’t work at all. I get roughly 5 seconds to 90 seconds of use before it crashes and I get that same old code CE-34878-0.

My Plex app is 1.05. I checked for updates… says it’s fully up to date.

I wish they’d fix it soon!

For those who come after me, I have fixed the problem. I went into settings and noticed that under authorised devices there were multiple versions of the PS4 client and also two servers (I’m not quite sure how Plex works, but servers are also authorised devices… can’t work that out).

Anyway, one server was version 0.9.0 or something and the other was 1.13.whatever. It said it was accessed 8 days ago and the other one was accessed just now. The 0.9.0 version also said it was running OSX 10.13 which is odd, as my laptop runs 10.12.

I deleted the PS4 clients (all of them) and the other server that looked like it was the wrong one, linked the PS4 app back to the account again and boom, I have my home screen finally.
