When I open the Plex app, I've bee able to enter the pin and connect the app with my account. I can access my Plex server over the internet on my phone, so I know it's connected and signed in. PS4's Plex App, however, is giving me a message that says "An error has occurred" and then provide links to try again or go "home".
How should I go about diagnosing the issue? It's not a problem on my server's side because I can access my library over the web (plex.tv) and through my phone over an Internet connection. Could it be a networking problem on my PS4's side? Thanks!
I solved the problem for me. My PS4 was connected to my ISP's router and my plex server was connected to my internal home router. Both networks are mutually routable but something was gumming up the works. Connecting my PS4 to my internal home router solved the problem.
