PS5 Plex cannot connect to synology NAS after updating to DSM 7.0

I recently upgraded my synology to DSM 7.0 following this post. Prior to upgrading to DSM 7.0, I had no issues accessing my synology server while using Plex on my PS5.

I am able to launch Plex through web app (chrome) and connect to my synology NAS after upgrading to DSM 7.0.

My television (a Samsung UN58MU6100) can successfully connect (via wifi) and stream video content from my synology NAS after upgrading to DSM 7.0.

After upgrading to DSM 7.0, my Plex cannot connect to my synology NAS from my PS5. In other words, I cannot stream video content from my synology NAS on to Plex running on my PS5.

I have attempted changing my PS5’s DNS servers to 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1 as described in this post. I have also ensured that secure connections are set to “preferred” as described in the same post.

I have attached logs to this post. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Server Version#:1.23.5.4862-7000
Player Version#:5.20.1

I am not upgrading until I absolutely need to do so. There are still too many bugs still out there even after extensive testing to make me want to do it.

I get the same on any Android device. Seen other posts saying Android and PS5 have this issue, but not how to resolve…. Assume manual install/upgrade but not had time to test. You manage to fix it?

Sadly I have not been able to fix this issue. I’ve tried manually installing plex again but no luck.

I manually installed v 1.24.2.4973 released Aug 26th … issue resolved for me.
