QNAP 1.14.0.5470 Request (x86_64) for UPNP Workaround

I’m suffering from the 100% CPU UPNP related bug on my QNAP NAS. Unfortunately, the devs have not seemed to prioritize this and running a core at 100% in a NAS is…not great behavior.

Does anyone have the old 1.14.0.5470 QNAP binary? I believe this was the last version before the faulty behavior was introduced.

Binary should be something like PlexMediaServer-1.14.0.5470-9d51fdfaac-x86_64.qpkg

To the devs: I understand that you can’t fix this for whatever prioritization reasons, but at least having an archive of old builds would be really nice as a fallback for this specific situation.

Note to anyone else suffering from this – you can grab plex 1.13 from the official QNAP store. Not ideal as it is more than a year old, but it seems to still support hardware transcoding and doesn’t spin the CPU at 100% forever.

Still would appreciate it if anyone has 1.14.0.5470 archived. Couldn’t find it online.

Switched to emby (temporarily?).

Not as pretty, but it actually works as a server. Supports QNAP nicely.
